Most fun to drive!

My previous car was a 2012 Mercedes C350 coupe that I purchased in 2013 and owned for 4 years before selling it in May 2017. My wife and I loved that car! But after renting a Porsche 911 Cabriolet in Miami for two full days in late 2016 before boarding a cruise ship to the Caribbean, my dream of actually owning a 911 became an obsession upon my return home. Long story short was that after much research and back to back test drives of a Porsche 911 and a Jaguar F-Type V-8S, I realized that a Jag might be the replacement for my Benz! After a few more test drives between a Jag V-6 S and the V-8 S I knew that if a Jaguar was in my future that it had to be the V-8! And so it was. I purchased a CPO 2014 Jaguar F-Type V-8 S (Firesand Orange) in early June of this year and havent looked back! This car is a hoot to drive and my wife loves it just as much as I do (although she hasnt actually driven it yet)! The Jag is everything I was looking for - looks, performance, and oh that symphony coming from the exhaust! Its intoxicating. It came with most of the options but the one I wish it had is the surround sound upgrade (it has the 330 watt Meridian system which is good but doesnt compare to the Harmon-Kardon surround sound system in my Benz). But did I mention the exhaust?! I guess the lack of a surround sound upgrade is a small sacrifice to make in exchange for the sweet music being played through those quad pipes every time I nail the gas! Some reviews of this car criticize the 7 cubic feet of space in the boot (trunk) but my wife and I have taken this car on 3 substantial road trips in the 6 months we have had it and have managed just fine. We recently spent 4 nights in Niagara-On-The Lake, Canada and in addition to our luggage we were also able to squeeze 12 bottles of wine in the boot for the ride home! Not bad. Its just a shame that winter is now upon us and well have to wait another few months before enjoying top-down weather again. But the car is no garage queen as I put a set of Toyo UHP all season tires on it so that I can drive it all year (barring days when its snowing or the roads are polluted with salt residue). The heated seats and steering wheel are nice luxuries in cooler temps. I really cant say I have any complaints about this Jag (although I bet the neighbors do!). Would I do it all over again? You bet I would. The 911 will just have to wait a few more years. And in case youre wondering, Im 61 years young.…

I needed a change and I replaced 2 Porsche Caymen S in a row with this vehicle. I wasnt sure it would measure up but while its a very different car - Its a very good and satisfying to drive car. A kittle more comfortable too with the exception of the seats which were better in the top of the line ones in the Porsche.
Love it.…
The Best affordable luxury sports car

For $100k there is nothing else you can purchase new that will give you the performance and the luxury brand of a Jaguar F-Type R. Sure, the Corvette Z06 has better performance numbers, but it's still a Chevy. The Jaguar is a legitimate supercar. 550 hp / 502 tq AWD and quite luxurious as well.
5 year / 60,000 mile warranty too? Who else can touch that?…
